Charlene is a dedicated professional who recognizes that health care must address the needs of the whole individual by creating an atmosphere which restores balance and harmony, increases vitality and energy and promotes better health through a variety of holistic therapies that work in harmony with the body. Charlene is certified in Adv. Reflexology, Aromatherapy, LaStone Therapy Massage, LaStone Sole Reflexology, Integrated Energy Therapy, Angel Healing and is a Usui, Karuna, Ascension & Imara Reiki Master / Teacher. She holds additional certification as a Doula, Childbirth Educator, Lactation (breastfeeding) Educator & Baby’s First Massage Instructor, Happiest Baby on the Block Instructor, as well as certificates in relaxation massage, Therapeutic Touch, Shiatsu for pregnancy, labour and birth, chakra balancing, ear candling, crystal healing therapy, & animal communication. She has also studied a wide variety of related subjects which she incorporates into her work. Her background also includes an Associate Degree in Fine Art, a Bachelor Degree of Biology, a Master Degree of Biology / Education with additional accreditation in education and the natural sciences. She served as a secondary science teacher for more than twelve years. Charlene’s line of bath and body products began in the mid 70’s, along with her involvement in holistic therapies, and continues to the present day. Embracing the natural world and the diverse richness it has to offer, she has also developed her own line of living botanical flower essences and also incorporates the richness of Nature into some of her soaps and ointments, and to dye some of her hand spun yarns. She is a past member of the Ontario College of Reflexology, a current member of Breastfeeding Niagara, The Prenatal Network of Niagara, Association of Ontario Doulas, CAPPA, DONA International, a Fellow with the International Federation of Holistic Therapists. She is also a member of the Niagara Region Orchid Society and the Niagara Handweavers and Spinners Guild.
