I am a mother to two beautiful biological babies and one wonderful stepchild. After becoming pregnant with my first child, I became obsessed with everything to do with pregnancy, labour, delivery and babies! I hired a doula after reading the stats on doulas, and it was the best decision I ever made for myself. After I became pregnant with my second, I hired the same doula and played around with the idea of becoming a doula myself. I loved how empowered I felt knowing she was helping me have the birth experience I dreamed of. One day I was browsing Facebook and saw an event posted for Birth Doula training and took it as a sign! I signed up and loved the course and can't wait to see where this takes me!
